Conceived in 2021, Nausicoatl was created to serve as a platform for our team to release the aircraft we produce to the flight sim community. Backed by years of academic research experience, our team is committed to providing you an immersive and authentic experience in aircraft that are a joy to fly. Our primary focus is to create high fidelity reproductions of some of the most famous and unique aircraft from history, modelled from the ground up to align as close to their real world counterparts as possible.
Overview
Our team understands the importance of correctly mirroring an aircraft’s design, performance, sound, and visuals as closely as possible. By drawing from an extensive collation of research materials our products can simulate not only the internal and external fuselage in superb detail, but all modellable systems to a high level of accuracy – be it performance chateristics, audio profile, or quirks unique to each aircraft. This means that you can be sure that when you use our aircraft, you’re as close to the real thing as you can get.
Solid Foundations
Behind each of our aircraft is a comprehensive research profile detailing the aircraft, its performance, and behavior. Developed from original blueprints, surviving documentation and recordings, photographs, renderings, and first-hand accounts of the aviators that actually sat behind the yoke, great care is put into ensuring all areas of simulation are as authentic as they can possibly be. This phase of the project can span anywhere from months to years before modelling work begins.
Real-World Inspired Models
Constructed in an era before the precision machinery that we know of today, no two aircraft were built the same. Each aircraft was meticulously assembled by hand, and bore the marks of their engineers and craftsman. Our aim is to recreate that uniqueness in every aircraft we design, with imperfections modelled as they would exist in real life.
Accurate Flight Models
We aim to produce flight models for our aircraft that can mimic the actual aerodynamic performance and flight surface behavior as closely as possible. Aided by some of the best surviving documentation and extensively detailed manufacturer specifications, you can be confident that the way each aircraft responds to internal and external forces is as it would have been in real life.

From the main fuselage down the the bolts securing production plates, our products are created to an extremely high standard of modelling and texture quality – all without comprising performance.

No aircraft is complete without it’s signature sounds. Built from surviving recordings, descriptions, and first hand accounts, our custom made audio and sound effects are designed to immerse you at all stages of flight.
